In this message Pastor Jeremy talks about the "Burden" of the church and the growth of Seven San Diego Church. Growth requires added workers for the Harvest (Matt. 9:37-38). Paul told the Colossians of the burden and joy he carried for them. Pastor Jeremy shares the burden he carries for the Seven SD Church family and the joy. The biblical precedent is that the burden and joy should be shared. Acts 6:1-5 talks about the appointing of deacons and 1 Timothy 3:8-13 talks about the requirements for deacons. Pastor Jeremy tells the Seven SD congregation to "choose from among yourselves" those full of wisdom and the Holy Spirit to be deacons. In this message we also see what Paul said about "Proclaiming Christ" and we heard a testimony from Ashley Whyte who is following God's call to Africa....because as we saw in the closing video..sharing Christ...THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT.
