Welcome to Seven San Diego Church! My name is Jeremy McGarity. I'm the lead pastor. We just launched on February 10! Before I tell you about the new church, let me tell you a little about my story. God got a hold of my heart while playing professional baseball with the St. Louis Cardinals. After blowing out my shoulder I became a pastor. Huh? Yep, long story. 

Now, my family and a team of leaders have planted a new church in Chula Vista, CA. Otay Ranch to be exact. We are now meeting every Sunday at the AMC Movie theater in the Otay Ranch Town Center at 10:00 am in theater 7. We have a full K-6 Kid's program in theater 10 and full Nursery and Pre-K program in theater 11. 

My family, wife, Janie, and two sons, Riley and Aidan, want to invite you to visit Seven SD. Come say hi, get a cup of Starbucks and relax. You're among friends and many other people trying to figure out this journey we call life.

If you have been Googling "the meaning of life" or have simply been looking for a relevant church in your area, check us out. We are 100% "religion" free. Our desire is that this church would be a hospital for sinners and not a country club for saints. We don't believe in stuffy rooms, boring messages or perfect people for that matter. We simply believe that life is about a journey where Jesus Christ desires to have a relationship with you. We believe faith should be about grace not guilt; fulfillment not frustration; and meaningful relationships. So we've called it Seven... 

THE NAME "SEVEN"
Why do we call our church Seven? It's the perfect number in the Bible representing wholeness or completeness. We want to see broken people (none of us are perfect) be made complete in Christ. Sounds simple doesn't it? Well, it is. By the way, we have had four "Previes Services" and a launch (grand opening). Make sure to browse through our message archive, you can listen through past teachings. Oh, and we can't forget to tell you how much we like to laugh. Having fun is one of our core values.
